This is the concept for The Landing, a collaboration of two local guys who have been in the industry a long time and developed an idea of what local cuisine should be. For us, the concept is simple:  To provide our customers a superb dining experience by consistently serving visually pleasing meals prepared with only the freshest ingredients of the highest quality in a professional and relaxing atmosphere.

Our promise:  Buy fresh.  Champion local farmers, fishermen, and artisanal purveyors.   Charge a fair price.  Be nice to people.  Be passionate in all that we do.  Pay attention to the smallest of details.  Always listen to our guests and exceed their expectations.

These are the same basic ideas that brought High Tide Catering to life in 2009. The Landing @ West Neck is the culmination of five years of hard work, little rest, loads of talent, and a sheer desire to succeed in the very competitive business of local catering in Virginia Beach and surrounding cities. Brent and Kyle always have had a vision to open a restaurant where they could expand on their highly successful catering business and offer a venue for their guests and showcase daily their amazing local cuisine.  On September 29, 2013, that dream became a reality with the purchase of The Landing @ West Neck. With a kitchen spacious enough to allow both businesses to thrive side by side, a beautiful dining area, and an outside deck that can seat about 50 guests, we knew the building was a perfect fit.  On top of that, this building has character! 2484 has been the focal point for restaurants in the courthouse area for nearly twenty years, and we poured our heart and soul into the “facelift” of this restaurant.

We want our guests at The Landing to love our restaurant as much as we do. Our menu is simple and our plating is clean and neat.  Fresh food takes its place in the spotlight according to the season.  Your meal will be brought to your table by our gracious and knowledgeable servers genuinely happy to see you. We are highlighting Virginia moonshine in our signature drinks. If local craft beer is your thing, we have many options on tap!  The Chalkboard menus are updated often and highlight fresh new products. Early bird specials and happy hour bar offerings are presented daily.

Don’t forget to check us out on Sunday for Brunch!  A Bloody Mary or fresh squeezed mimosa will have your name on it!
